The Palace of Westminster, the parliament place since 1547, is the meeting place of the House of Commons and The House of the Lords, the two houses of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The Palace is near the River Thames in the City of Westminster, in central London. It was built during the 11th Century. It almost burnt down in 1834 so the biggest part of the building was rebuilt during the 19th Century. Today a lot of people visit the Palace of Westminster.
